Below are the details about the application process if you –
- Are applying to get into the Art major for any concentration (currently not in the Art major)
- Are in the art major but want to change your concentration (Graphic, Interior, Industrial, Multimedia, Studio)
- Are in the art major and have a concentration, but want to add a second concentration
DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION IS
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1
Please include all of the following items for review:
- Change of Major form (available in the Advisement Center office, 11 Bowman Hall)
- Unofficial transcript (print from student menu in Access Stout after logging in)
- Statement of Goals (why you want that Art concentration)
- A digital portfolio of up to 10 images in JPEG format. College-level work is preferred, but items from high school may be used as well.
- For upperclassmen: A GPA of 2.5 in all Art, Design, and Art History classes
Submit ALL materials to the Advisement Center in 11 Bowman Hall by 4:30 PM
ASPIRE -
Student Support Services (ASPIRE and Disability Services) assists students and improves campus climate in order to increase the retention and graduation of first-generation college students and student receiving Pell grants through financial aid or students having disabilities. Career Exploration Course (TRDIS 101) - This course will enable you to: Understand career planning, identify career interests, values, skills and personality type, examine career alternatives, explore career opportunities, make decisions and set goals.

For most majors you will want to find a Co-op/Internship. Why not use state-of-the-art search and interview technology to find positions regionally, nationally, and globally? International Student Services
The Office of International Education serves international students and scholars at UW-Stout. The office provides professional assistance and information for: academic, immigration, financial and professional matters. To ensure that students become well integrated into the community, the office also provides new student orientation before each semester commences.

Math Lab
The Math TLC is where UW-Stout students learn basic math skills in a people-oriented, technology-enhanced environment. Teachers start daily classroom sessions with a short lecture, then students begin online homework assignments with help from teachers and specially trained peer tutors.
Parking
Permits are required to park on campus. There are also streets that haveparking meters.
