Distinguished Alumni – Fred Beyer ’72 and Deanna Howell House ‘61 The James Huff Stout Award is presented to a UW-Stout alumni who has exemplified Mr. Stout's "learning through involvement" attitude and manner.
Award Nominees should exemplify:
- The philosophy of James Huff Stout. Specifically significant and broad professional accomplishments from which the lives of individuals have benefited
- specific and meritorious service to the community, state or nation

- significant and broad professional accomplishments reflecting credit upon the individual and UW-Stout Community Service

As there are many outstanding alumni who meet the criteria listed above, you are welcome to nominate more than one individual. Your written nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee made up of UW-Stout alumni. Nominations are accepted throughout the year but remember Distinguished and Outstanding Alumni Awards are presented to persons during the celebration of their reunion.
