Review Your Student Aid Report (SAR)
The Student Aid Report (SAR) will be generated from the federal processor, and made available to you on the FAFSA Web site after your FAFSA has been processed. If corrections are necessary, you can access your application online and re-submit the application. If you've filed a paper FAFSA, you'll receive a paper SAR that can be corrected and mailed back to the federal processor.
Return Requested Information Quickly
To avoid unnecessary delays in awarding your financial aid, complete and return any forms requested by the Financial Aid Office as quickly as possible.
Verification Forms
Roughly one-third of financial aid applicants must submit signed copies of student and parents' federal tax forms. If you've been selected for verification, the financial aid office will send you a verification worksheet and a request for tax information via mail. Students and their parents are encouraged to make copies of their federal tax forms and W-2s "just in case."
