University of Wisconsin - Stout

Computer Use Policies

The library is providing public access to computers in accordance with University policy: Internet and Network Resources Use Policy.

Members of the Stout community can use library computers by logging in using their e-mail username and password. Other qualified users may use the computers but must register and be logged in by a library staff member. Please contact the ALD, Circulation or Reference desks for assistance. By signing the Public Computer Log Form you are agreeing to adhere to the policies noted above.

Library computers are made available to support research. Individuals using computers for non-research related e-mail, chat or games may be asked to relinquish the computer.

If all workstations are occupied, ask for assistance at the Reference, Circulation, Access to Learning or Periodical Information desks.

Printing Policies

Laser Printing: The library provides laser printing from all public computers in the library. Black and white printing costs 10 cents per page. Color printing is 20 cents per page. All printers use the student ID card as a payment method.
