To retain the citation and full text (if available), multiple records may be placed in a folder from multiple pages of the results list.

Print, E-mail, or Save an Article from EBSCOhost Databases

Internet Explorer (IE) is the Internet browser used on the library's computers. The following procedures must be used for printing, e-mailing, and saving, or problems will subsequently occur. This is due to EBSCOhost being frames oriented while IE is not. These procedures also apply when using IE on personal computers. The only difference occurs while saving from the File, Save browser menu functions which are configured to the computer that is being used.

Use the Print/E-mail/Save icons of EBSCOhost whenever possible -- not the browser toolbar (e.g. Internet Explorer) commands.

Educational Resource Information Center (ERIC) Search

ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center, contains citations and abstracts from both education journals and documents, such as, curriculum guides and conference proceedings. An EJ accession number categorizes its journal citations. An ED accession number categorizes citations to its educational documents.

The advanced search used in conjunction with the Refine Search tab is powerful because the search may be limited to search for only journals, for only documents, by educational level, by publication type (ex:curriculum guides, theses), etc.

Step 1 - Start at the Library Home Page (http://www.uwstout.edu/lib/)

Step 2 -Select Indexes and Databases.

Step 3 - Select EBSCOhost under Major Vendors.

Step 4 - Select EBSCOhost Research Databases or one of the other services listed.
