- Eric Weisstein's World of Science Eric Weisstein's World of Science supplies great, online encyclopedias in astronomy, physics, chemistry, and mathematics, as well as a biography of renowned scientists.
- Extreme Science Created by scientist Elizabeth Keller to get students interested in science.
- First Science Offers a wide range of science information in many forms and on various topics.
- Fun Science Gallery "Promotes laboratory activities such as performing scientific experiments or building instruments."
- Hands-on-Universe 'An educational program that enables students to investigate the Universe while applying tools and concepts from science, math, and technology.'
- Jefferson Lab: Science Education A collection of many teacher resources, games, and science lessons.
- NASA Connect The NASA Connect Web site serves as a complement to the television program on PBS with the same name. It offers many resources for math, science, and technology teachers for grades six to eight.
- National Institutes of Health, Office of Science Education: Free Resources for Teachers
- National Science Resources Center " Provides leadership, services and products for improving the learning and teaching of science."
- Performance Assessment Links in Science (PALS) "An interactive resource base for science performance assessment task grades K-12."
- Science Education Gateway (SEG-way) For access to lesson plans and resources from some of the best science museums in the US, teachers can enter the Science Education Gateway.
- The Science Museum of Minnesota: Thinking Fountain The many science activities provided on the site include: Bubbles, chromatography, density, friction, inventions, optics, light, recycling, and more.
- Science Update From the American Association for the Advancement of Science
- Try Science The site provides a variety of mathematics, science and technology experiments and activities for students.
STOUT LIBRARY CATALOG

EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS CENTER (EMC)
The Stout Library Catalog includes materials located in the entire University Library. To search only those PK-12 materials located in the Educational Materials Center of the University Library, you can set limits on the catalog to search only that location.
The EMC contains several collections. Materials identified by Educational Materials Center listed in the Stout catalog will be in EMC Juvenile, EMC Curriculum, EMC Text Collection, or EMC Software Collection. Use the same terms as listed above for your searches.
