There are tremendous scholarship opportunities for Manufacturing Engineering students. Through the Stout University Foundation, there are a number of endowed scholarships specifically available to our students. In addition, there are several endowed scholarships available to students within the College of Technology, Engineering and Management. In addition to the Stout Foundation opportunities below, most of the professional societies, like SME, SAE, AFS and ASME, offer scholarships through their own education Foundations. More than $80,000 has been awarded to Manufacturing Engineering students through Stout Foundation and Professional Society scholarships in each of the past two years.

Rath Foundation Merit Scholarship ($6000)

This scholarship, renewable for up to four years, is available to entering freshmen or sophomore/junior transfers who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement.

John Entorf Scholarship ($2000)

This scholarship provides support for a junior/senior with preference given to a student who has completed an internship. It is awarded to an Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering student.

Frank Cervenka Memorial Scholarship ($1000)

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering.

3M Wisconsin Community Affairs Council Scholarship (Two each year for $1000 each)

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering.

Arland and Eleanor M. Larson Endowed Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship ($750)

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Manufacturing Engineering.

Dwight and Linda Davis Scholarhip ($600)

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Manufacturing Engineering.

Patrick A. Albricht Endowed Scholarship ($500)

This scholarship is slated for support of a junior/senior student in Manufacturing Engineering. 

Fulton and Edna Holtby Scholarship ($500) [up to 60 per year have been awarded]

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Manufacturing Engineering.

Fiskars Manufacturing Engineering Endowed Scholarship ($500)

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering with junior or senior standing.

Garrot and Dewey Barich Endowed Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship ($250)

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Manufacturing Engineering with junior or senior standing.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship ($250)

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in  Manufacturing Engineering.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers Indianhead Chapter 335 Scholarship ($250)

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering.

Donal C. Beran Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is slated for support of a student in Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering.
